PDC is proud to support the Sandton SPCA through a hardware donation, aiding their mission to care for vulnerable animals in the community.
Recognising the critical need for an efficient point-of-sale (POS) system, the SPCA sought assistance in automating and integrating sales processes at their onsite charity and bookshops. The new system aims to enhance financial management and streamline transactions, offering improved control over cash and card payments.

Despite the pressing need, the SPCA lacked the necessary funds to implement this essential hardware solution. In response, PDC donated a Star MPOP 3-in-1 cash drawer and receipt printer, along with barcode scanners, enabling the SPCA to elevate its operational efficiency.
Frikkie Koegelenberg, Executive at PDC, shared: "At PDC, we are dedicated to empowering organisations like the Sandton SPCA to grow and thrive. By supporting their efforts with technology solutions, we contribute to a cause that touches lives and strengthens community bonds."
The Sandton SPCA is dedicated to the prevention of animal cruelty and the promotion of responsible pet ownership. As one of the largest and most respected animal welfare organisations in Gauteng, they provide shelter, care, and adoption services for hundreds of animals in need.
Through this collaboration, PDC continues its commitment to making a meaningful difference by supporting initiatives that foster positive change in both business and community sectors.
